Next dinners March 16, 23, 30 | last dinner this term is March 30 -- open mic

Catherine March 9 we served about 440! Everyone who arrived by about 6:40 got food. Some who arrived after 6:45 found very slim pickings, as leftovers had already been announced. And we all know what happens to the remaining food then! People seem to enjoy the board games now available around 4 pm when some people arrive to stake out tables. Some students study. We have wireless. Open mic is March 30, the last dinner. In the suggestion box there appeared to be a coalition of responders asking for dinners during the exam period. I ran this idea by a couple of our key volunteers. Alas, they responded with gentle, good humoured and self-controlled (never to say hysterical) chuckling. We get pretty tuckered out by the end of March, so I decided not push this idea any farther. Catherine
